Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ibipeba's Rubinho Tepedino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vito Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Palmeira having to interfere. Tomé Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Ceifeiros da Morte's zone, Rubinho Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wanderson Simões came out of the goal and Rubinho Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wanderson Simões didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Rubinho Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubinho Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Simões having to interfere. If Carlos Eduardo Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gildo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ceifeiros da Morte's Wanderson Simões got control of the ball when Gildo Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubinho Tepedino in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wanderson Simões saved Ceifeiros da Morte from getting behind. Wanderson Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Tepedino in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Vito Carioca made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ibipeba's goalkeeper Tomé Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Eduardo Veloso. The supporters of Ceifeiros da Morte booed when Ibipeba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubinho Tepedino in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wanderson Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ceifeiros da Morte's Wanderson Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Tepedino in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Gildo Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibipeba's supporters rose to their feet, but Gildo Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wanderson Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ceifeiros da Morte booed when Ibipeba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes, Manfredo Sabóia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceifeiros da Morte and the Ibipeba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Manfredo Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibipeba were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
