The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Companhia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Neves to maneuver through the defense. Companhia's Severino Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Severino Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Leme ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 14 in the game by Ramiro Carneiro from a close distance when the talented André Luiz Paraense managed to make a qualified save. new time's players were relieved. André Luiz Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Luiz Paraense came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Companhia's Ramiro Carneiro. But to his dismay, Ramiro Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 62nd minute, Severino Leme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Companhia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Valdemar Lira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Josué Jacinto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valdemar Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Jacinto having to interfere. In the 77th minute Severino Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes of play new time's Hudson Oliveira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Companhia's Severino Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Severino Leme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Companhia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 95th minute Severino Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luiz Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Leme in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Companhia had played much better football throughout.
