Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Xandy FC's Rômulo Pereira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Ramiro Carneiro made a precise shot to the right of Reinaldo Furlan. Xandy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Companhia's Josué Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Oliveira in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Josué Oliveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Josué Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Josué Oliveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josué Jacinto was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 16th match minute, Companhia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Neves to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Xandy FC booed when Companhia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xandy FC's Rômulo Pereira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Companhia. Josué Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Josué Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Rômulo Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Companhia's Josué Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rômulo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Josué Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rômulo Pereira in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Josué Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josué Oliveira took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josué Jacinto. Josué Jacinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Xandy FC's Rômulo Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Rômulo Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes Companhia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rômulo Pereira who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Leme during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Companhia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Leme to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Oliveira in the 49th minute of play forced Companhia's goalkeeper Josué Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Francisco Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xandy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josué Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rômulo Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Josué Jacinto made a huge save. Josué Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Jacinto having to interfere. Xandy FC's Rômulo Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Zé Augusto Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Xandy FC booed when Companhia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Faria's late challenge caught a Companhia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Faria helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Xandy FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Faria. After some careless play in the Xandy FC defense, Ramiro Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinaldo Furlan. The Xandy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaldo Furlan should have stopped the shot. Josué Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josué Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Jacinto having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Severino Leme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Companhia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Pereira in the 93rd minute of play forced Companhia's goalkeeper Josué Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josué Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Companhia support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
