Uruguay's Panfilo Tremiño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belton Algoud in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Tyler Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Australia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyler Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belton Algoud to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiago Udias spun around in front of the goal 71 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Australia's goal. Australia made a substitution. Braedan Block replaced Tyler Boyd. Uruguay's Eloi Fresnedo was substituted for Tiago Udias. Uruguay's Franky Edgar was substituted for Meder Ubiña. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betadur Pecina got free with Arjen Lucassen in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panfilo Tremiño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larkins Mcvey in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isauro Arberas in the 88th minute of play forced Australia's goalkeeper Arjen Lucassen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Larkins Mcvey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Panfilo Tremiño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
