Seating: 237, VIP seats: 20) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jezdimir Zorić made the kick off which started today's match. Robin Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jezdimir Zorić in the 4th minute of the match. Rastko Mirosavljević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Bröms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rastko Mirosavljević didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmy Bröms went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Bröms came free, but Rastko Mirosavljević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Serbia got a corner. Sweden's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gvozden Simonović ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Serbia's Gvozden Simonović to fire away a dangerous shot which Robin Wahlnäs despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Klas Unesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Unesson in the 26th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Rastko Mirosavljević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes of play, Sweden's Timmy Bröms made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rastko Mirosavljević was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute, Klas Unesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignjat Gecić to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Unesson came free, but Rastko Mirosavljević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Klas Unesson made a precise shot to the right of Rastko Mirosavljević. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Jezdimir Zorić struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Robin Wahlnäs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serbia. Klas Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rastko Mirosavljević having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timmy Bröms stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timmy Bröms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serbia's Rastko Mirosavljević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Unesson in the 52nd minute of play. Timmy Bröms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rastko Mirosavljević having to interfere. Serbia made a substitution. Serafim Ašković replaced Jezdimir Zorić. 58 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Unesson came free, but Rastko Mirosavljević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Klas Unesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rastko Mirosavljević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Unesson in the 62nd minute of play. Klas Unesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serbia made a substitution. Radoljub Vranjković replaced Obren Lomić. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Serbia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erik Stabbe was slow to take the kick. During this time Sweden's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Roland Pilgren heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sweden made a substitution. Ashley Cole replaced André Apelqvist. Sweden's Sören Jespersson was substituted for August Engström. After taking down the ball on Serbia's corner Gvozden Simonović fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robin Wahlnäs quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafim Ašković in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Wahlnäs saved Sweden from getting behind. Rastko Mirosavljević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Unesson in the 84th minute of the match. Rastko Mirosavljević stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klas Unesson's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
