The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 李潮希 made a kick off. After a rather tough play, U21 Austria's Fatih-Sultan Tekke got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51stth minute of the game 李潮希 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Austria's Tristan Wellnitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tristan Wellnitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a left leg Tristan Wellnitz saved U21 Austria from getting behind. The audience was convinced that 李潮希's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristan Wellnitz was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Tristan Wellnitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 潘锋勇 in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, 潘锋勇 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
