Napoleon Sadlowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jelle Knopper in the 11th minute of play forced FC Kadzidlowen's goalkeeper Emil Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Kiepski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Percival Costa's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Jacinto Maria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rouven Nussli. International Thunders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Maria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tevez in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rouven Nussli saved International Thunders from getting behind. Alberto Tevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rouven Nussli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Kadzidlowen's Emil Kiepski got control of the ball when Tibor Bäuschlein tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alberto Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tevez in the 33rd minute of play. Emil Kiepski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Kadzidlowen's Napoleon Sadlowski got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rouven Nussli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernie Gauthier's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes International Thunders's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ziemowit Puchlik who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of International Thunders's goalie and right to Rogério Pestana. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. International Thunders's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Alberto Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half FC Kadzidlowen were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jelle Knopper was the one to do the kick off. Rouven Nussli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rdth minute of the game Alberto Tevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but International Thunders's Rouven Nussli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the last second Rouven Nussli throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alberto Tevez in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Alberto Tevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rouven Nussli having to interfere. Alberto Tevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rouven Nussli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Emil Kiepski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jelle Knopper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Kiepski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Costa in the 63rd minute of play. Alberto Tevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rouven Nussli having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Kadzidlowen's Napoleon Sadlowski got a free kick in the 66th minute. FC Kadzidlowen made a substitution. Charis Leontiou replaced Alberto Tevez. FC Kadzidlowen's Kryspin Gabis was substituted for Rogério Pestana. The supporters of International Thunders booed when FC Kadzidlowen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Sadlowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Kadzidlowen's Emil Kiepski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelle Knopper in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernie Gauthier got free with Rouven Nussli in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save International Thunders from getting a goal against them. Charis Leontiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Charis Leontiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Bernie Gauthier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kadzidlowen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernie Gauthier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charis Leontiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charis Leontiou in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. When the final whistle sounded FC Kadzidlowen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than International Thunders.
