The audience thought a goal was coming when Tincho Palermo got free with Madeo Cuadrado in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Madeo Cuadrado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
