Egemen Tolgay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Abreu in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Herbie Sikalopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Cloud FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fausto Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbie Sikalopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Fausto Ferraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 minutes, Muhammet Özenli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Cloud FC and the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Black Cloud FC's Muhammet Özenli got a free kick in the 11th minute. Fausto Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbie Sikalopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Herbie Sikalopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fausto Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbie Sikalopoulos in the 19th minute of play. Herbie Sikalopoulos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Fausto Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Cloud FC. Fausto Ferraz came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Cloud FC's Herbie Sikalopoulos. But to his dismay, Herbie Sikalopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Dagoberto Esteves came free in the 35th minute and tried to tip the ball over Egemen Tolgay, but to the joy of Black Cloud FC's supporters the ball went over. In the 39th minute of the match Gürkan Akaydın shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Ferraz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Herbie Sikalopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gürkan Akaydın to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcel Abreu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Fausto Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbie Sikalopoulos in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Abreu in the 58th minute of play forced Black Cloud FC's goalkeeper Egemen Tolgay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauã Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egemen Tolgay having to interfere. Emirşah Pekgöz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Fausto Ferraz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gürkan Akaydın in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürkan Akaydın got free with Fausto Ferraz in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute Herbie Sikalopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egemen Tolgay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Aguiar's late challenge caught a Black Cloud FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Black Cloud FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
