In the 16th minute Xian Guardamino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Baltazar Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xian Guardamino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Couto having to interfere. Falcão Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Peguero, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Roger Aro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Baltazar Cearense struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alfredo Barcena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fala Sério FC. Falcão Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Peguero in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's zone, Cássio da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Barcena came out of the goal and Cássio da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cruz Peguero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Couto was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xian Guardamino in the 43rd minute of play forced Fala Sério FC's goalkeeper Falcão Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Barcena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Fala Sério FC were the better team. Fala Sério FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
