FRIENDS CITY's Mané Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Rebocho in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DPD FC's Vicente Quinaz got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Seco in the 9th minute of play forced DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of DPD FC booed when FRIENDS CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Rebocho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavo Vilas Boas's late challenge caught a FRIENDS CITY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olavo Vilas Boas helped the player get up and apologised. 33 minutes into the match, FRIENDS CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Rebocho came free, but Mané Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Rebocho in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falcão Mangueira hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. DPD FC's Higino Lameiras managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luiz Paulo Brasil in the 44 minute of the game. The DPD FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when DPD FC's Lisandro Rebocho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The wind increased when Lino Rosa made the kick off in the second half. Higino Lameiras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mané Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Quinaz in the 60th minute of the match. Mané Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Rebocho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Rebocho in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Lino Rosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuno Pais saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the FRIENDS CITY players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DPD FC.
