The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when Erubiel Abreu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 14th minute Mateo Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Ledesma was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Abelardo Baleren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abelardo Baleren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Arturo Ledesma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Baleren in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Leones Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Erubiel Abreu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arturo Ledesma. The goal made the score 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Berasko in the 38th minute of play forced Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arturo Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Leones Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Hori to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnulfo Berasko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arturo Ledesma. That made the score 5-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Abreu made a kick off. The supporters of Leones Futbol Club booed when Cachilo FC --OFF-- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Leones Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Abreu came free, but Arturo Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Erubiel Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones Futbol Club's Arturo Ledesma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Abreu in the 74th minute of play forced Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arturo Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Baleren struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Arturo Ledesma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachilo FC --OFF--. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Abreu in the 78th minute of play forced Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arturo Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Cordarell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachilo FC --OFF-- the free kick. In the 79th minute, Osvaldo Cordarell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arnulfo Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Leones Futbol Club getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alonzo Mosen hit a great ball. Mateo Domeka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Teodor having to interfere. Erubiel Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Ledesma having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Leones Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Domeka to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cachilo FC --OFF-- had won after a very even match.
