The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Concetto De Nardis might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haimon Moraitopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Concetto De Nardis ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sporting Club Sicilia booed when Ditalent.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk McQueen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haimon Moraitopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Michelini in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Ditalent.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Concetto De Nardis came free, but Haimon Moraitopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
