Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peter Linkhorst took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 11th minute of the match ManagerZone Crew got a corner. VERONA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrian Våleman ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Peter Linkhorst drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind VERONA FC's goalkeeper. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Linkhorst in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Ortiz saved VERONA FC from getting behind. Thorbjörn Olerius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dráusio Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Peter Linkhorst. When ManagerZone Crew's Robert Ununger in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VERONA FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Umberto do Vale got free with Patrick Armstrong in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Andreas Sjöstrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Ununger in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Ortiz saved VERONA FC from getting behind. In the 43rd minute of the match ManagerZone Crew got a corner. VERONA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrian Våleman ran over to the corner to take the kick. ManagerZone Crew's Peter Linkhorst was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dráusio Ortiz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dráusio Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Spante in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Sjöstrand to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to VERONA FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dida Tróia hit a great ball. Peter Linkhorst might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráusio Ortiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Linkhorst ran back to his position shaking his head. Thorbjörn Olerius took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráusio Ortiz. Dráusio Ortiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 62nd minute of the match ManagerZone Crew got a corner. VERONA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrian Våleman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto do Vale in the 72nd minute of play. VERONA FC's Waldemar Sousa was substituted for Pedro Luiz das Neves. Andreas Spante hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Alfredão Cosme took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patrick Armstrong. ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of VERONA FC booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Våleman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thorbjörn Olerius hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Patrick Armstrong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umberto do Vale went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, VERONA FC's Dráusio Ortiz got control of the ball when Peter Linkhorst tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Gaúcho in the 93rd minute of play forced ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
