The Juventus Țiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hao Ke Yuan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Yang Song in the 26th minute of play forced Dragonf⮊rcE's goalkeeper Zacarias Sesimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Sesimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bud Weiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Zacarias Sesimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Yang Song in the 33rd minute of play. Hao Ke Yuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barry Houghton's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Dragonf⮊rcE's Barry Houghton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hao Ke Yuan. Hao Ke Yuan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barry Houghton to make the kick off. With his leg Zacarias Sesimbra managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Juventus Țiu's Manuel Boteanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zacarias Sesimbra made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Manuel Boteanu sent off a good shot on target. Juventus Țiu's Gigel Gologan was substituted for Bud Weiser. Dragonf⮊rcE's Porfírio Antunes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gigel Tofan, made in the 66th minute of the game. After 67 minutes of play, Dragonf⮊rcE's Barry Houghton made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hao Ke Yuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Juventus Țiu's Sergiu Dobrotă got a free kick in the 70th minute. Dragonf⮊rcE's Jerónimo Pais was substituted for Vivaldo Brites. Dragonf⮊rcE's attentive Virgílio Coelho managed to snatch the ball when Calistrat Spirea made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Barry Houghton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hao Ke Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barry Houghton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hao Ke Yuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Dragonf⮊rcE were awarded a corner. Ludo Tobbackers went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Dragonf⮊rcE's corner Ludo Tobbackers fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hao Ke Yuan quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Dragonf⮊rcE booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Tofan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigel Tofan kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Lu Yang Song hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dragonf⮊rcE had won after a very even match.
