Cristinel Costeiantu had great luck who in the 5thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rafael Navarro from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a little luck, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Cristinel Costeiantu got control of the ball when Rafael Navarro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Navarro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Cristinel Costeiantu made a huge save. In the 14th minute of the match, Rafael Navarro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristinel Costeiantu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of F.C.DrobetA-Știința- booed when D.P.Aarburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Vilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the F.C.DrobetA-Știința- defense, Rafael Navarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristinel Costeiantu. The F.C.DrobetA-Știința- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristinel Costeiantu should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Costeiantu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, D.P.Aarburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octávio Bento to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes F.C.DrobetA-Știința- got a freekick which was hit by Randle Morse. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Unai Loizaga during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to D.P.Aarburg getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Unai Loizaga hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Navarro got free with Cristinel Costeiantu in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Barros Schelloto in the 45th minute of play forced D.P.Aarburg's goalkeeper Valentin Bujor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Bujor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Buta, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 48 minutes D.P.Aarburg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ramon Nikola who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s corner Ramon Nikola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valentin Bujor quite easily take care of the ball.

Cristinel Costeiantu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Peralta in the 52nd minute of the match. Matei Oproiu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Xavier Vilar kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Matias Barros Schelloto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bujor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristinel Costeiantu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Navarro went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of F.C.DrobetA-Știința- booed when D.P.Aarburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unai Loizaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute D.P.Aarburg were awarded a corner. Nicu Ilieș went to the cornerflag to take it. D.P.Aarburg's Nicu Ilieș was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristinel Costeiantu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Cristinel Costeiantu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Navarro in the 78th minute of play. Rafael Navarro might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristinel Costeiantu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Navarro ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristinel Costeiantu came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by D.P.Aarburg's Rafael Navarro. But to his dismay, Rafael Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Cristinel Costeiantu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C.DrobetA-Știința- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for D.P.Aarburg.
