The audience was convinced that Michal Stehno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Cunha was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şamil Sağman in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Eguzki saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Stehno to make the kick off. Gracie Barra's supporters crossed their fingers, but 周挺勇 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Unidad de Matanza's Marsilam Sangaji was substituted for Wieslaw Szkaradek. Gracie Barra's Hugo de Queirós was substituted for Şamil Sağman. Gracie Barra made a substitution. Nilton Botelho replaced Pedro Velloso. Falcão Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marsilam Sangaji, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Eguzki had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Thiago Silvan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Snorri De Hond came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubens Rezende charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubens Rezende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marsilam Sangaji received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Falcão Cunha came out and tried to block the shot, but Marsilam Sangaji slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 93rd minute. Snorri De Hond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Eguzki having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
