Naldo Félix came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by WAU team's Adhemar Hermes. But to his dismay, Adhemar Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Salles came free, but Dráusio Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráusio Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Fernandez in the 13th minute of the match. Dráusio Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Zé Paulo Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Paulo Fernandez spun around in front of the goal 23 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of WAU team's goal. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Zé Paulo Fernandez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Inter Gala's Naldo Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Massa in the 27th minute of play. Dráusio Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Massa in the 34th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Mané Abreu put in a rough tackle. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for WAU team! Dráusio Siqueira had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Alan Jacinto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Alan Jacinto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of WAU team's Dráusio Siqueira. Dráusio Siqueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Léo Matos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jefferson Massa during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in WAU team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! In the 45th minute, Alan Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Dráusio Siqueira. WAU team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Magno Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter Gala made a substitution. Nestor Hoffmann replaced Sílvio Luís da Silveira. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Paulo Fernandez to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Fernandez came free, but Dráusio Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
