Grzegorz Karpiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyo Syarifudin in the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, SAPI FC's Paijo Sutrisna got control of the ball when Kylian Mbappè tried to sneak it across the goal line. SAPI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelmza Team the free kick. After 32 played minutes SAPI FC got a freekick which was hit by Erdoğan Ekincioğlu. SAPI FC's Paijo Sutrisna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Antoszewski in the 33rd minute of play. When Karol Antoszewski came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Chelmza Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Antoszewski couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Bawang Merah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
