In the 14th minute, Egídio Rodrigues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Uxio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Amílton Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sílvio Massa's late challenge caught a PI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Massa helped the player get up and apologised. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amílton Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. PI FC's Eliseo Uxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Rodrigues in the 32nd minute of play. Basilio Osmundo made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Modesto Felipo. In the 42nd minute, Egídio Rodrigues reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eliseo Uxio. The goal made the score 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Llope to strike the kick off in the second half. Amílton Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute.
