Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Ishmael in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Lartaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th match minute, Tacheros de Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Frasquito to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Ishmael, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Godofredo Sindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlethico Talleres the free kick. Victorino Quexal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Inko, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Manuel Hibai was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Arnulfo Dolcet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnulfo Dolcet really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Haroldo Lartaun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Ishmael went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Inko was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tacheros de Buenos Aires's zone, Domingo Inko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Lartaun came out of the goal and Domingo Inko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 55 in the game by Victorio Ishmael from a close distance when the talented Haroldo Lartaun managed to make a qualified save. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's players were relieved. In the 61st minute, Armando Mateus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, Club Atlethico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Lartaun to maneuver through the defense. If Arnulfo Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Domingo Inko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlethico Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Inko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Tacheros de Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Frasquito to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Ishmael got free with Haroldo Lartaun in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Inko in the 88th minute of play. Luis Ekialde kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Arnulfo Dolcet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Hibai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 96th minute, Victorio Ishmael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Lartaun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
