The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He walked away shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, Black Mamba's goalkeeper Patrik Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Calcio. Patrik Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Proia in the 10th minute of play. Patrik Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe De Tommasi in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Black Mamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Forssell to maneuver through the defense. Amerigo Michelini kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Björn Apelkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Galdi skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Amos Giusto got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Ettore Giusti made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Nordström. Black Mamba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Patrik Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe De Tommasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Giusti in the 30th minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Patrik Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Björn Tinglöf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Andrea Vitale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Matsson in the 61st minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Emiliano Galdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe De Tommasi hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Matsson in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Galdi saved Sporting Club Sicilia from getting behind. Black Mamba's Patrik Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Giusti in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Gullesson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Galdi was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Sporting Club Sicilia's Edmondo Proia got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club Sicilia's zone, Björn Apelkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Galdi came out of the goal and Björn Apelkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Giusti in the 86th minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Patrik Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Ettore Giusti made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Nordström. Black Mamba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Flavio Calcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Sporting Club Sicilia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
