In the 7th minute Erik Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Santos in the 8th minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Ramón Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. WAU team's Ramón Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Leite in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Roberto Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiko Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. WAU team's Ramón Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Santos in the 15th minute of play. Ramón Neves didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cactos's Diamantino Santos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luiz Donato during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Pedro Luiz Donato got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Dênis Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Vidal in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Cactos booed when WAU team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vicente Bittencourt hit a great ball. WAU team's Ramón Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Santos in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Amauri Prestes came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by WAU team's Rafa de Barros. But to his dismay, Rafa de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ramón Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Leite in the 64th minute of play. Aírton Leite received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramón Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Aírton Leite slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 65th minute. Diamantino Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 76th minute, Cactos's Aírton Leite ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramón Neves. Ramón Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Júnior Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Amauri Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Diamantino Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramón Neves, 1-7. Aírton Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Neves having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Leite in the 93rd minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Ramón Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The WAU team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cactos's performance. The match ended with a win for Cactos.
