In the 3rd minute, Porteño Prowess FC's Obregón Tendiero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frances Tisserand. Frances Tisserand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Porteño Prowess FC's Frances Tisserand threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Obregón Tendiero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ferrer Vivero hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Bret Fry made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Caunedo. Porteño Prowess FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Obregón Tendiero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frances Tisserand was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the game, Venerando Galvez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Frances Tisserand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ordonez Cortazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 minutes, Brice Bergman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marshrose and the Porteño Prowess FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Brice Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Porteño Prowess FC's Xavier Tella couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marshrose. If Ordonez Cortazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frances Tisserand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Obregón Tendiero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obregón Tendiero in the 46th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Frances Tisserand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerold Hooper to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Obregón Tendiero was the one to do the kick off. Venerando Galvez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Tisserand having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marshrose! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Tella during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xavier Tella hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Frances Tisserand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obregón Tendiero in the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Jerold Hooper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marshrose's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerold Hooper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Obregón Tendiero came free, but Frances Tisserand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Unax Espada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porteño Prowess FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Unax Espada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frances Tisserand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frances Tisserand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obregón Tendiero, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byron Wills to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Ordonez Cortazar notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Marshrose's Frances Tisserand. Frances Tisserand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venerando Galvez struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Frances Tisserand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porteño Prowess FC. A collision led to Porteño Prowess FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Marcelo Bracero hit a great ball. Frances Tisserand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obregón Tendiero, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Frances Tisserand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venerando Galvez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Porteño Prowess FC had played much better football throughout.
