Spectators: 7802 (Terracing: 5853, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wesley Mangueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, BLACK STAR FC's Raúl de Senna got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, BLACK STAR FC's Frank Meireles seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Frank Meireles the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BLACK STAR FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Frank Meireles had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of BLACK STAR FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S.C. Reis United:s goal. The referee gave S.C. Reis United a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabinho Pereira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BLACK STAR FC's Geraldo Furtado. 0-1. After a rather tough play, S.C. Reis United's Gualter Cardoso got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Dino Urbano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Paulo Urbano. The goal made the score 1-1. BLACK STAR FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raúl de Senna in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Raúl de Senna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Paulo Urbano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Geraldo Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When S.C. Reis United's Rodriguinho de Toledo in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BLACK STAR FC's goalie prevented a goal. Geraldo Furtado came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Reis United's Rodriguinho de Toledo. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Gaspar in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geraldo Furtado saved BLACK STAR FC from getting behind. When S.C. Reis United's Eduardo Gaspar in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BLACK STAR FC's goalie prevented a goal. Eduardo Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

53 minutes into the match, BLACK STAR FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodriguinho de Toledo. Geraldo Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Gaspar in the 57th minute of the match. BLACK STAR FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Eduardo Gaspar scored to the left of an out of position Geraldo Furtado, making the score, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguinho de Toledo got free with Geraldo Furtado in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 minutes, Raúl de Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BLACK STAR FC and the S.C. Reis United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, BLACK STAR FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Rodriguinho de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho de Toledo notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of BLACK STAR FC's Geraldo Furtado. Geraldo Furtado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the game, Dino Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. João Paulo Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Gaspar in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Furtado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geraldo Furtado made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Rodriguinho de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Geraldo Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Negri in the 84th minute. Dino Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to BLACK STAR FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Wesley Mangueira hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Moura in the 96th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The BLACK STAR FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching S.C. Reis United's performance. The match ended with a win for S.C. Reis United.
