Carel Van de Schrieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Majorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyryl Adamus in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carel Van de Schrieck saved Café DE PLOEG from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Kloots came free, but Pawel Madej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pawel Madej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Verhaghen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Café DE PLOEG getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Brian Verhaghen hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's Cyryl Adamus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carel Van de Schrieck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Café DE PLOEG's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
