Benny Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ignacio Parra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Gomez got free with Ignacio Parra in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruben Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Parra having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, Real Llull de Reus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaizkine Babia to maneuver through the defense. Real Llull de Reus's Ignacio Parra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Sanchez in the 54th minute of play. Qin Xiao charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 95thth minute of the game Julen Casals who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
