In the 10th minute Shen Yong Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yannik Blocks in the 12th minute of play forced VERONA FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão de Barros hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Dráusio Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Czerniejewski in the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yannik Blocks in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráusio Ortiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24thth minute of the game Yannik Blocks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VERONA FC's Dráusio Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Heavy Metal Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto do Vale came free, but Borys Patora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráusio Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannik Blocks in the 28th minute of play. Yannik Blocks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Ortiz having to interfere. Fabiano Lago hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Yannik Blocks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dráusio Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yannik Blocks in the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the VERONA FC defense, Yannik Blocks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dráusio Ortiz. The VERONA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráusio Ortiz should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juliusz Dyczkowski was the one to do the kick off. Juliusz Dyczkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráusio Ortiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. A very nice done corner allowed Ovidio Vincente to score against Dráusio Ortiz in VERONA FC's goal. 0-4 after 56 minutes. In the 60th minute, Juliusz Dyczkowski made a precise shot to the right of Dráusio Ortiz. VERONA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Juliusz Dyczkowski in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dráusio Ortiz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, VERONA FC's Valdo Ramalho got a free kick in the 64th minute. VERONA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Juliusz Dyczkowski scored to the left of an out of position Dráusio Ortiz, making the score, 0-6. 74 minutes into the match, VERONA FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juliusz Dyczkowski. VERONA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Juliusz Dyczkowski scored to the left of an out of position Dráusio Ortiz, making the score, 0-7. VERONA FC made a substitution. Renatinho Gaúcho replaced Cléber Valle. 80 minutes into the match, Juliusz Dyczkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dráusio Ortiz. VERONA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juliusz Dyczkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The supporters of VERONA FC booed when Heavy Metal Pirates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aietes Rigatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87th play minutes Juliusz Dyczkowski shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Dráusio Ortiz and just under the crossbar into goal. If Juliusz Dyczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dráusio Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Juliusz Dyczkowski sent off a good shot on target. 99 minutes into the match, Juliusz Dyczkowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dráusio Ortiz, 0-10. Heavy Metal Pirates played a much better game than VERONA FC and deserved their victory. The VERONA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
