MINEIROS's Toninho Goiano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With his leg Mahoma Lacorte managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when MINEIROS's Toninho Goiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benê Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mahoma Lacorte came out and tried to block the shot, but Benê Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 21st minute. Toninho Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Mahoma Lacorte made a huge save. In the 30thth minute of the game Toninho Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but April 25 SC's Mahoma Lacorte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mahoma Lacorte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Goiano in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Joel Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahoma Lacorte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Milio Pedriza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mahoma Lacorte acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from João Vítor Linhares. Mahoma Lacorte was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as MINEIROS's Toninho Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mahoma Lacorte. That made the score 7-0 after 43 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toninho Goiano to strike the kick off in the second half. When Toninho Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the MINEIROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Goiano couldn't finish the play. 52 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Goiano came free, but Mahoma Lacorte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toninho Goiano in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahoma Lacorte saved April 25 SC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toninho Goiano in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahoma Lacorte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rio Mendez fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored April 25 SC's protests and gave Rio Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Toninho Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MINEIROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toninho Goiano in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahoma Lacorte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mahoma Lacorte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Quadros in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Quadros came free, but Mahoma Lacorte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
