An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Pottsepp in the 19th minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Tanek Wojtyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, U21 Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Black Remi to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Alexiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tanek Wojtyna. U21 Poland's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Witold Bycofski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grzegorz Karpiak was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The supporters of U21 Poland booed when Chelmza Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Puch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Lander to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witold Bycofski in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grzegorz Karpiak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute Witold Bycofski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Karpiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanek Wojtyna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 87 minutes into the game, Chelmza Team's Radomil Siekierski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tanek Wojtyna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The throw-in from Leonard Alexiu in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Poland's Mariusz Truskovskiy. When Mariusz Truskovskiy came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the U21 Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariusz Truskovskiy couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, U21 Poland's Zbyszek Wojtyna got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Chelmza Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
