U21 Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Czerwinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grzegorz Karpiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Czerwinski in the 73rd minute of play. Chelmza Team's Damazy Puch quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Igor Andrychowski, made in the 75th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Maximino Lander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tanek Wojtyna, 2-3. Chelmza Team's Radomil Siekierski was substituted for Karol Antoszewski. Chelmza Team's Pawel Lerych got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chelmza Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonard Alexiu in the 87th minute. Chelmza Team's Leonard Alexiu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tanek Wojtyna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 92 minutes into the game, Grzegorz Czerwinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Grzegorz Karpiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
