Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Adam Matysek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gines Cazarez in the 12th minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstanty Gejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iggi Kot in the 14th minute of play. Witomir Kochanowski took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstanty Gejda. Konstanty Gejda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ðuza Stopa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Matysek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ðuza Stopa in the 88th minute of the match. Jan Olisadebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Konstanty Gejda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
