Paulão Bezerra started the match with the kick off. Grisha Mbappè's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luís Fernando Almeida firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 6th minute, Carlos Alberto Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexsandro Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Bezerra in the 9th minute of play forced Febre Amarela's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Paulão Bezerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luís Fernando Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of LOBO 1908 booed when Febre Amarela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Grisha Mbappè cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Luís Fernando Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, LOBO 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Peres came free, but Chiquinho Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Grisha Mbappè sped through Febre Amarela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Fernando Almeida. 31 minutes into the game, Grisha Mbappè cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Luís Fernando Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute Alexsandro Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Febre Amarela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Célio da Cunha hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lenílson Peres was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Alexsandro Cardoso in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LOBO 1908's Camillo Lampa. In the 54th minute Grisha Mbappè shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fernando Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute LOBO 1908 were awarded a corner. Carlos Alberto Sá went to the cornerflag to take it. LOBO 1908 made a substitution. Fergus Forester replaced Jeremias Tande. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Febre Amarela's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiquinho Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquinho Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio da Cunha in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Grisha Mbappè made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fernando Almeida. LOBO 1908's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
