Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaudencio Hartz started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes, Mariano Pavone made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Copérnico F.C.'s Amadeo Rainerio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Fraco threw the ball into play from the sideline. Metapalo FC's Alto Roca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Arnulfo Hurko made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Metapalo FC's Joop Deswarte. 15 minutes into the match, Mariano Pavone notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Copérnico F.C.'s Amadeo Rainerio. Amadeo Rainerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariano Pavone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's Mariano Pavone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Rainerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Copérnico F.C. booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joop Deswarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Zacarias Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Serapio in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes Metapalo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnulfo Hurko who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Arnulfo Hurko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gavino Belarmo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gaudencio Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute Zacarias Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Hartz scored 0-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Rainerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Mariano Pavone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Rainerio. Copérnico F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Pavone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After the first half Metapalo FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Kinsen came free, but Gavino Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, one of Copérnico F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Copérnico F.C.. Mariano Pavone's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Amadeo Rainerio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 63rd minute Zacarias Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metapalo FC's Ronaldinho Hoffmann was substituted for Gaudencio Hartz. 68 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Serapio came free, but Gavino Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mariano Pavone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute Paolo Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goalkeeper Amadeo Rainerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho Hoffmann. If Paolo Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Pavone in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Metapalo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
