With a little luck, MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões got control of the ball when Shao Hao Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Shao Hao Zhen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zézinho Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Alex Suhendar got a free kick in the 9th minute. Gabriel Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Susara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 17th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Gabriel Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Silas Vale seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Silas Vale the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ferreira Lopes MZC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silas Vale had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 24th minute, one of Ferreira Lopes MZC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferreira Lopes MZC. Ferreira Lopes MZC:s Gabriel Barral showed great skill when he stopped Inácio Freitas:s penalty. Gabriel Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro do Valle in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when Ferreira Lopes MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Freitas in the 39th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Gabriel Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Meertens came free, but Gabriel Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro do Valle made a kick off. Shao Hao Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zézinho Simões. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shao Hao Zhen ran back to his position shaking his head. Zézinho Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shao Hao Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MarquinhosEC's Florin Susara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabriel Barral in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 64th minute, Rodriguinho Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MarquinhosEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shao Hao Zhen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Shao Hao Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Hao Zhen in the 83rd minute of play. When Vinicio Junior fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferreira Lopes MZC's protests and gave Vinicio Junior a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Junior. After a rather tough play, MarquinhosEC's Ulisses de Andrade got a free kick in the 90th minute. Shao Hao Zhen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zézinho Simões. MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Gabriel Barral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ferreira Lopes MZC from getting a goal against them. Shao Hao Zhen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Gabriel Barral was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Michael Meertens. Ferreira Lopes MZC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MarquinhosEC for a fine match.
