Serafim Messias hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. As de Ouro's Samuca Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Paraense in the 11th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, MUSHIBA FC's Vitório Paraense made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuca Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! When MUSHIBA FC's Vitório Paraense in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye As de Ouro's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Paraense in the 21st minute of play forced As de Ouro's goalkeeper Samuca Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MUSHIBA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when João Carlos Motta scored to the left of an out of position João Augusto Quintal, making the score, 1-1. Claudinho Tande struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Samuca Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. Samuca Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Capixaba in the 30th minute of the match. Samuca Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With an all-out effort, As de Ouro's João Augusto Quintal threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Carlos Motta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Delfim Mangueira hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Claudinho Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, As de Ouro's Rômulo Nóbrega got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in As de Ouro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The As de Ouro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MUSHIBA FC were winning 1-2.

MUSHIBA FC made a substitution. Maurinho Valadares replaced Claudinho Tande. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Carlos Motta to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuca Lara came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares. But to his dismay, Maurinho Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With his leg Samuca Lara managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Samuca Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Valadares's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Maurinho Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Samuca Lara made a huge save. Maurinho Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurinho Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares got a free kick in the 74th minute. João Carlos Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Quintal having to interfere. The nice shot from Maurinho Valadares in the 87thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Samuca Lara had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 94 minutes, Vitório Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUSHIBA FC and the As de Ouro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Vitório Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The MUSHIBA FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MUSHIBA FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
