Jano Bezerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Salvador Futebol Clube's zone, Perivaldo Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Alcântara came out of the goal and Perivaldo Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléber Botelho in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César Alcântara saved Salvador Futebol Clube from getting behind. Kléber Botelho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, César Alcântara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Horacio Jesus Telemakis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Salvador Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Jesus Telemakis couldn't finish the play. César Alcântara was a little too slow when Kléber Botelho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-3. Jano Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Jesus Telemakis in the 41st minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléber Botelho was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Huchro in the 51st minute of play forced SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Jano Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jano Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Barnaba Huchro sent off a good shot on target. Jano Bezerra was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Max Scholl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Max Scholl really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. After a rather tough play, Salvador Futebol Clube's Inácio Garcia got a free kick in the 70th minute. Salvador Futebol Clube's César Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Botelho in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Scholl in the 77th minute of play forced SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Jano Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Salvador Futebol Clube booed when SANTOS FC- FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Mauro Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Salvador Futebol Clube's Jimmy Van dooren in action when he in the 82nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Falcão Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Max Scholl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salvador Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Scholl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jano Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Scholl got free with Jano Bezerra in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breno Brodel's late challenge caught a Salvador Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Brodel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Salvador Futebol Clube booed when SANTOS FC- FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cássio Porto came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Salvador Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Porto couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Salvador Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SANTOS FC- FDFDF.
