The referee ignored La France FC's protests and gave Edgard Davids a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La France FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Edgard Davids hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, La France FC's Hector Urtats got a free kick in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Laurendi got free with Ramiro Sica in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SAN MARTIN F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
