Domingo Oihenarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Petru Bâru managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 11th minute of the match, Esteban Hats tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pastor Frantzes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 12 minutes Isótopos V.M.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luis Bertin who took care of the corner kick. Pastor Frantzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Cresencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Löhr in the 19th minute of play forced Terremoto Xeneize's goalkeeper Rogelio Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taribo West recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match Terremoto Xeneize got a corner. Isótopos V.M.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis Bertin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 27th minute, Kjetil-André Digernes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Terremoto Xeneize got a corner. Isótopos V.M.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Terremoto Xeneize's Luis Bertin to fire away a dangerous shot which Pastor Frantzes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pastor Frantzes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Cresencio in the 34th minute of the match. Domingo Oihenarte hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Marco Löhr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Isótopos V.M. were awarded a corner. Domingo Oihenarte went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Gualterio Mede managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rogelio Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Löhr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Löhr in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Ostadar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Löhr to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Gustavo Cresencio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Isótopos V.M.'s Pastor Frantzes. Pastor Frantzes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isótopos V.M.'s Petru Bâru got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute of the match, Petru Bâru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rogelio Ostadar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rogelio Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taribo West in the 65th minute of the match. Rogelio Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Löhr in the 67th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Terremoto Xeneize's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Oihenarte came free, but Rogelio Ostadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Marco Löhr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isótopos V.M. made a substitution. Albeiro Usuriaga replaced Petru Bâru. The crowd rose to their feet as Isótopos V.M.'s Albeiro Usuriaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rogelio Ostadar. That made the score 1-1 after 93 minutes of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
