But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Vilanova couldn't finish the play. D.J. Bamba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lourenço Vilanova got free with Claude Erosa in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Marconi Rock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, MACAU. F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kobe Bryant came free, but D.J. Bamba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luo Feng Bang made a kick off. Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luo Feng Bang in the 50th minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Luo Feng Bang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claude Erosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kobe Bryant in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck D.J. Bamba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Kobe Bryant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but D.J. Bamba was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Silvano Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claude Erosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Assunção in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ona Somrient FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MACAU. F.C.
