With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrián Espadas in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcell Barovero saved Roceira SC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Roceira SC's zone, Adrián Espadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcell Barovero came out of the goal and Adrián Espadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcell Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michel Haaland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armando Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adrián Espadas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Espadas couldn't finish the play. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Marcell Barovero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
