After 17 played minutes, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Saverio Ladio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Bergqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ reached it. Boris Arvidsson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Prosper Pike was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prosper Pike didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Federigo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Aaron Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Rozarius in the 32nd minute of play. Aaron Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Rozarius in the 36th minute of the match. DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Bertol in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Tano in the 39th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Aaron Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, one of DIF LEEDS BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DIF LEEDS BK. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Narciso Tano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Aaron Bergqvist made a huge save. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
