Christoffer Jørgensen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jackie Chana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. After some careless play in the Åsnes defense, Jackie Chana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoffer Jørgensen. The Åsnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoffer Jørgensen should have stopped the shot. Fred Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Alnes in the 14th minute of play. Fred Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Alnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Kim Alnes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fred Santana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fred Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Alnes's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jon-Egil Gjelsvik hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Jonathan Vie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 34th minute, David Reitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Alnes in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wesley Safadão to make the kick off. Karl Zahl kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Morten Sundseth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morten Sundseth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 played minutes CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA got a freekick which was hit by Betão de Andrade. 64 minutes into the match, CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Alnes came free, but Fred Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Ødegaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd match minute, CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes, Tor-Kristian Fosse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsnes and the CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA players grew even worse after the yellow card.
