Eliodor Oproiu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Eusebiu Levițchi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Leo Doro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Doro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Coja to maneuver through the defense. Iurie Turbatu kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Aurelian Nae scored 1-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilian Tender, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Aurelian Nae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Emilian Tender was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Leo Doro in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 minutes of play, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's George Vlăsiu made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irinel Dobrițoiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, Aurelian Nae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irinel Dobrițoiu made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when George Vlăsiu sent off a good shot on target. George Vlăsiu took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irinel Dobrițoiu. Irinel Dobrițoiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After 45 minutes of play, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Leo Doro made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irinel Dobrițoiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelian Nae made a kick off. Emilian Tender was a little too slow when Mihăiţă Tunaru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 4-4. In the 56th minute, Aurelian Nae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Aurelian Nae looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 61st minute Ilie Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Dobrițoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Coja to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes, Mihăiţă Tunaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni and the CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihăiţă Tunaru kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Irinel Dobrițoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Doro went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-5 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goal looked a bit too open when George Vlăsiu came free, but Irinel Dobrițoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Nae came free, but Emilian Tender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Doro to maneuver through the defense. Aurelian Nae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Irinel Dobrițoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Gâgea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Nicu Gâgea made a precise shot to the right of Irinel Dobrițoiu. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-5. CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
