The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelian Zogreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Edgar Vrânceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Mihele in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Banu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Panin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu Bornescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Tripon in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Manuel Zaharia hit a great ball. Gyula Hajnal struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gelu Bornescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
