Pavel Chivu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Dolfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Marcial Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Marcial Dolfos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Chivu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pavel Chivu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Neron in the 16th minute of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mirkelam Sergen sped through Devoto club social's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pavel Chivu. 21 minutes into the match, Placido Neron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pavel Chivu, 2-0. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Florentino Janpier sped through BAC Belgrano de Cba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeo Jacob. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Dolfos in the 29th minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper Pavel Chivu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Marcial Dolfos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Chivu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Santiago Cibran got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Marcial Dolfos made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Devoto club social getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Florentino Janpier hit a great ball. The supporters of BAC Belgrano de Cba booed when Devoto club social was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Devoto club social's Tadeo Jacob threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Desiderio Galsino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Santiago Cibran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 minutes Devoto club social's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Placido Neron who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Devoto club social booed when BAC Belgrano de Cba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Chivu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Neron in the 73rd minute of play. Pavel Chivu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Dolfos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Marcial Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Chivu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Chivu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Neron in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Victor Harri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Dolfos in the 83rd minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper Pavel Chivu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Janpier came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tadeo Jacob could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Janpier got free with Tadeo Jacob in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Victor Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mirkelam Sergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Chivu having to interfere. BAC Belgrano de Cba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
