Peluchita Fc's Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Cerilo in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Eulalio Abaunza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabian Umea. Eulalio Abaunza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Eulalio Abaunza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Umea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Fabian Umea was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Eulalio Abaunza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eulalio Abaunza really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Eulalio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Abaunza in the 32nd minute of play forced Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Fabian Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Eulalio Abaunza put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabian Umea. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Fabian Umea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peluchita Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martín Cardetti in the 44th minute. Peluchita Fc's Martín Cardetti was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabian Umea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Cerilo to make the kick off. Eulalio Abaunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fabian Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eulalio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Eulalio Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Peluchita Fc's Eulalio Abaunza made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Umea was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eulalio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd match minute, Peluchita Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Falcão to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Peluchita Fc booed when Atlético Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Cordero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Eulalio Abaunza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Umea. Atlético Argentino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Abaunza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. If Eulalio Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute Eulalio Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Nicolas Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes Atlético Argentino got a freekick which was hit by David Mattin. After having played for 95 minutes, Martín Cardetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peluchita Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martín Cardetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peluchita Fc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
