A sloppy throw-in by Cido Goiano in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by JFSP's Kārlis Straubegs. Eurico Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, GLADIADORES's Túlio Perez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Cido Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Eurico Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Túlio Perez came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the GLADIADORES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Túlio Perez couldn't finish the play. Edson Aguiar took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Arantes. Eurico Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Edson Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eurico Arantes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edson Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute, Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Brzęczyszczykiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JFSP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 35th minute Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Brzęczyszczykiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Brzęczyszczykiewicz in the 37th minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Eurico Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, GLADIADORES's Cido Goiano got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Túlio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GLADIADORES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eurico Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Brzęczyszczykiewicz in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eurico Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Brzęczyszczykiewicz in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, GLADIADORES's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eugênio Paiva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 60 minutes into the game, one of GLADIADORES:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eurico Arantes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Brzęczyszczykiewicz in the 72nd minute. Valdir Sergipano took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Võ Gozali. Võ Gozali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The supporters of JFSP booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, JFSP's Edson Aguiar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Paşa Longo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Sebastião Furtado notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of JFSP's Võ Gozali. Võ Gozali was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, GLADIADORES's Michel Freire got a free kick in the 98th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
