After 9 played minutes S.C.PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Sampaio. 10 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo Velasco notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of S.C.PAULISTA's Alessandro de Souza. Alessandro de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 15 minutes of play, S.C.PAULISTA's Acácio Alves made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adalberto Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rogério Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.C.PAULISTA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Bernardinho Cardoso scored to the left of an out of position Alessandro de Souza, making the score, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Bernardinho Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro de Souza was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 34th play minutes Bernardinho Cardoso shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Alessandro de Souza and just under the crossbar into goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardinho Cardoso made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Bernardinho Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.PAULISTA's Alessandro de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardinho Cardoso in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rezende FC's Bernardinho Cardoso in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.C.PAULISTA's goalie prevented a goal. If Luiz Paulo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Rezende FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Adriano da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Bernardinho Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.PAULISTA's Alessandro de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alessandro de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Bernardinho Cardoso put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alessandro de Souza. S.C.PAULISTA's Alessandro de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Cardoso in the 75th minute of play. He walked away shaking his head. Adriano da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro de Souza having to interfere. When Cláudio Leite fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C.PAULISTA's protests and gave Cláudio Leite a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Leite to maneuver through the defense.
