The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franciszek Zukowski in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rezende FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franciszek Zukowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Qjos MiLLano's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Qjos MiLLano's Franciszek Zukowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Reynaldo das Neves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rezende FC's Reynaldo das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Martins in the 8th minute of play. Oséias Bezerra had great luck who in the 13thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bernardinho Cardoso from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Bernardinho Cardoso spun around in front of the goal 13 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Qjos MiLLano's goal. Afonsinho Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Oséias Bezerra made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Ediberto Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oséias Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 22nd match minute, Qjos MiLLano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno da Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Anderson Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Franciszek Zukowski sped through Rezende FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reynaldo das Neves. After 35 minutes of play, Qjos MiLLano's Franciszek Zukowski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oséias Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Cardoso in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Vaz in the 42nd minute of play forced Rezende FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardinho Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Zukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Rezende FC made a substitution. Lauro Vander replaced Manoel Montenegro. In the 56th match minute, Qjos MiLLano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Martins in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Franciszek Zukowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Reynaldo das Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, Qjos MiLLano's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Cardoso came free, but Oséias Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséias Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardinho Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Lauro Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
